It’s my favourite time of the year! The weather’s getting warmer, the flowers are blooming, and the shopping is escalating. Here are a few of my latest skincare finds that I’ve been loving this spring.
1. Bija Clarifying Salicylic Cleansing Foam by innisfree
This cleanser gets super foamy! There isn’t a strong smell. It has salicylic acid so it’ll help with keeping blackheads away in the long-run and it’s great for my oily skin. I wouldn’t recommend using this one if you have dry skin. Avoid getting it in your eyes – this may be obvious but you can always use a reminder!
I always recommend using an oil cleanser to get your makeup, sunscreen and dirt off your face, and then follow with a water-based cleanser. This is what I use for my second cleanse.
2. Green Tea Hyaluronic Acid Refillable Serum by innisfree
I know, another Innisfree product. What can I say? They’re working for me! This serum’s super hydrating and gives you a pretty glow. I find that it absorbs incredibly well and it’s not tacky or messy. It’s fragrance free, which is my personal preference with skincare.
The bottle is glass so it has some weight to it, making it perfect for this next point: it’s refillable! I’ve been using it religiously in my morning and night routines and it lasted for about 3-4 months.
3. Balm Dotcom Lip Balm and Skin Salve by Glossier
I’ve heard so many things about this salve. I typically use it as a lip balm, but you can also use this on your skin like your crusty, dry elbows. Sometimes I apply it on my cuticles to not ensue the wrath of my nail tech. It helps with healing cracked or dried skin: I had a cut on the corner of my mouth after getting my wisdom teeth taken out and applying it helped soothe the irritation. Lasts a good amount of time – around a couple of months if you use it regularly. I’m almost out so I made sure to purchase a second tube ASAP!
4. Brow Flick by Glossier
Another Glossier product, yes! My very sparse and under-crowded brows and I thank you, Glossier. This allows me to fill in the obvious gaps where hair refuses to grow. It’s so easy to use and quick for rushed mornings.

5. This headband
This isn’t a skincare or makeup product but it’s definitely a staple in my routine. Use it to keep your hair dry when washing your face or out of the way when you do your makeup. You can find these in so many different styles and colours. I got mine on a quick trip to Walmart.

I’ll definitely be keeping these in my routine for a while. What’s your go-to products lately? Let me know if you’ve tried any of these.
