The most important question after moving was “what couch should I get?” Furnishing a new place can be intimidating – especially when pieces cost a pretty penny. Your living room couch will bring everything together and will be the main piece in the room. But no pressure…
I decided on the Atmosphere modular sofa from Cozey. It’s a Montreal-founded company and I’ve been seeing it all over my feed. Good marketing really does work, and I’m glad it did!
It’s been a few months now, and here’s how it’s been!
1. Easy to clean
The couch is really easy to clean. I run the vacuum on it and stains get spot treated with a handy-dandy Tide-to-go pen.
Considering the light-coloured covers I chose, I thought this would be a big problem. But it’s pretty low maintenance for an upholstered sofa.
The only downside I noticed to the couch is the pilling and snagging on the covers. Pilling is usually expected when it comes to upholstered furniture, so I’m not surprised.

2. Comfortable
Two words: DEEP SEATING. There’s so much space on this sofa. I don’t even need an ottoman, because my feet barely go past the edge of the couch. (#shortpeopleperks?)
After going back and forth between the Atmosphere and the softer Ciello, I think I made the right decision.
The seats aren’t too soft and not too firm. I’ve had a few sleepovers and lots of long naps on this thing.

3. Storage
Another reason why I chose this sofa over the Ciello. Each seat has the choice of having storage. Knowing how much stuff my apartment has, it was a no-brainer. The storage is so practical and makes tidying up easier.

4. Minimalistic
Another great thing about the couch is how minimalistic it is. Its flat back and arms make it easy to work on a laptop or place a cup of coffee.
Very demure, very cutesy.

5. Convertible
The pieces are modular so seating can be rearranged. The idea was to add modules as my space grows. Right now, the two seater is perfect for my 3 1/2 apartment.
The seat covers are removable (and washable) so you can change them for different colours and fabrics. I’ve really had my eye on some bolder colours.
This is my 3-month check-in for the Cozey couch! Although this post is not at all sponsored (but I wish it was), I would definitely recommend the couch. But we’ll have to wait and see a little longer to really give it a fair review.
