One of my favourite things in life has to be a cozy night in. Comfy clothes, squeezing onto a couch full of pillows and blankets, a mountain of snacks, maybe even a glass of wine, and of course, a great rom-com.
Luckily, in this glorious era of streaming, we have a never-ending supply of rom-coms to choose from.
Here are 7 picks to make your night in perfectly cozy.
13 Going on 30 (2004)
Jenna’s fed up with junior high, and wishes she were “thirty, flirty, and thriving” on her 13th birthday… only to wake up as a 30-year-old the next day.
I absolutely LOVED this magical rom-com switcheroo growing up, and honestly, Jenna really helped prepare me for my thirties!

27 Dresses (2008)
She’s always the bridesmaid, and never the bride. Jane is constantly helping everyone else find love while her own life is, well, a mess…
If you’re looking for a charming, feel-good rom-com about love and friendship, this is THE one!

A Cinderella Story (2004)
Many of us loved the classic Cinderella story as kids, and this modern take is just as charming.
Ever since her dad died, Sam’s wicked stepmom has her working tirelessly at the diner, but still finds a way to sneak into the prom in a mask to meet her online crush…
Also, this is all just perfect timing, because Hilary Duff just announced a new tour!
Watch on Netflix
Crazy Rich Asians (2018)
I’ve loved Constance Wu ever since Fresh Off the Boat, and she totally killed in this all-Asian cast (bonus points!) movie as Rachel Chu, who meets her boyfriend’s insanely rich family in Singapore.
Side note: this is also my go-to movie to watch on airplanes! So fun and glamorous, with just the right mix of romance (and chaos)!
Watch on Netflix
Five Blind Dates (2024)
What if a fortune teller told you your soulmate was among your next few dates? Would you hop on the dating train? That’s exactly what Lia decides to do after a fortune teller tells her she’ll meet her soulmate on one of her next 5 dates.
But was the fortune teller right? Will she actually meet the one? You’ll just have to watch and find out!
Watch on Amazon Prime Video
She’s the Man (2006)
If you’ve seen this movie, then you know just how nostalgic and absolutely HILARIOUS it is.
Amanda Bynes starts as soccer player teen Viola who disguises herself as her twin brother to join the boys’ team. And let’s just say, chaos (and romance) definitely ensues.
Watch on Netflix
The Princess Diaries (2001)
I mean, who didn’t dream of waking up one day to find out they’re a princess?
I’ve probably watched this movie over 100 times. Plus, Anne Hathaway is SO iconic that any movie with her is automatically a win!
