As sisters, The Lilac holds a special significance for us, as its name stems from a playful nickname our high school teachers gave us due to the frequent mispronunciation of our last name as “Lilac.”

Kristina Lalic
Co-Founder
Meet one of the creative geniuses behind The Lilac: Kristina Lalic, co-founder with a Filipino-Canadian background, born and raised in the lively city of Montreal. Her love for storytelling is as strong as her borderline obsession for Muji pens, cute stickers, and fun notebooks. You’ll often find her with her nose in a book, or rather a Kobo, as she’s always on the hunt for new reading material. With a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature, she has an unwavering passion for writing, evident in the captivating content she creates. When she’s not busy crafting stories, you can find her whipping up delicious treats in the kitchen, kickboxing, or playing beautiful melodies on the piano.
Alisa Lalic
Co-Founder
Alisa, the other half of The Lalic sisters and co-founder of The Lilac, was also born and raised in Montreal as a Filipina-Canadian. Pursuing a major in Finance, she also has banking experience under her belt. When she’s not busy crunching numbers and creating color-coded Excel sheets, Alisa is a self-proclaimed picky foodie who can be found exploring new restaurants and cafés, always on the hunt for the perfect dish. With a love for skincare and fashion, Alisa enjoys trying out new products, routines and styles to express her creativity. But don’t be fooled by her stylish Burberry glasses – she can’t see a thing without them. And when it comes to computers, Alisa’s not afraid to get her hands dirty, tinkering away and risking minor electrocution just to get things done.

As a Junior Graphic Designer with over three years of experience, Frank has honed his skills to perfection, and his passion for captivating designs knows no bounds. With an insatiable appetite for constructive criticism and a penchant for exploring new techniques and design trends, Frank continually refines his craft to deliver remarkable results. Beyond design, his world revolves around the thrilling realm of motorsports. From the adrenaline rush of Formula 1 to the joy of go-karting and sim racing, he finds inspiration at every turn. With boundless creativity and a deep love for his four-legged companion Maia, Frank infuses every design with a touch of warmth and charm, making each creation truly unforgettable.
