You recall the day you turned eighteen – the day you became an adult. Perhaps you celebrated with a grand traditional Filipino debut like I did, or maybe it was your first party at a bar or a club. You also can’t forget the time you moved into your first apartment, feeling both excitement and trepidation as you embraced the independence of a new chapter in your life.

At 28, you find yourself in a place where growing older becomes undeniable, and the uncertainty of what you’re doing with your life remains just as perplexing.

And it’s not just the “When are you going to settle down?” questions from the aunties at family dinner parties. It’s paying taxes. It’s working a 9-to-5 job. It’s realizing that all-nighters aren’t as easy as they used to be. It’s discovering you prefer staying in on a Friday night over going out.
