It’s Spring Break, and everyone’s booking flights and packing their bags. Instagram feeds are flooded with snapshots of sandy beaches, ski mountains, towering landmarks, cute OOTDs, and bustling streets.
Meanwhile, the rest of us are left scrolling through endless TikTok videos, binge-watching the latest top Netflix series, munching on snacks, and maybe even daydreaming we were tanning on the beach.
But though our passports may be collecting a little bit of dust, our imaginations are ready to embark on a journey of their own. So grab your virtual boarding pass, and join us as we explore all the dream countries we’d travel to right now – even if it’s just in our minds!
Where Alisa Would Travel To Right Now
1. Iceland
I’ve always wanted to see the northern lights. With all the light pollution we get, I’d love to see a glimpse of what the sky really looks like at night. I can’t even imagine what it’s like to watch the light dance across the sky. Iceland is also, ironically, a geothermic gem. I can’t wait to take a dip in those natural hot tubs!
2. Tanzania
Along with the beautiful landscapes, one sight I can’t wait to see if the great migration from a hot air balloon. I think I’ll have to get over my fear of heights first though…
3. Thailand
FOOD. Okay, not just the food but it’s up there. There’s incredible views that I’m looking forward to. I can live out my dream of floating on a clear canoe like you see on Pinterest.
Where Kristina Would Travel To Right Now
1. Peru
Machu Picchu’s been on my bucket list for as long as I can remember – probably ever since I watched The Emperor’s New School on Disney as a child! The thought of standing atop the ancient ruins, surrounded by misty mountains, is simply breathtaking. Oh, and who wouldn’t want to pet the llamas!
2. South Africa
South Africa’s landscapes are calling my name, from the iconic mountains and hikes to picturesque beaches, and charming towns. I’m excited to go on a safari adventure, and witness the incredible wildlife. And let’s not forget about sampling South Africa’s renowned wines – the perfect way to toast to unforgettable experiences!
3. South Korea
South Korea’s blend of tradition and modernity has always fascinated me. I’d love to explore the bustling streets of Seoul, with its neon lights and futuristic architecture, juxtaposed against the tranquil temples and serene palaces. And of course, I can’t wait to delve into the cuisine, fashion, music, and vibrant nightlife!
So there you have it! Our dream destinations. Now if only we could snap our fingers and be on our way there right now…
