All you Montreal it girls who love supporting local, this one’s for you!
Whether you’re into stationery, self-care, home decor, or just cutesy little finds, save these 7 local spots for your next summer of shopping and frolicking around the city.
1. Maison Colorée
4621 Saint Laurent Boulevard
Montreal, Quebec
H2T 1Y7
I first went in here on my birthday last year, and let me just say: I fell in love with everything (and my wallet hurt a little).
Walk in here, and you’ll immediately want to redecorate your entire home. Their home decor pieces are so unique and colourful, with some of the most interesting designs and prints.
2. Ex-Voto
6534 Saint Laurent Boulevard
Montreal, Quebec
H2S 3C6
This one’s a more recent discovery of mine. They have so many cute finds like stationery, home decor, books, and also one of the best BAGGU selections.
But what I really love here is their clothing and accessories. It’s always full of the cutest, most unique pieces. I wish I could buy the entire selection!
3. Nueva Era
301 Emery Street
Montreal, Quebec
H2X 1J2
This has been one of my favourite stationery shops in Montreal probably since CÉGÈP. It’s part stationery store and part coffee shop, and they have everything from stickers and washi tape to rubber stamps, craft paper, notebooks, cards, markers, fountain pens, and so much more.
They also host lots of fun workshops like journaling sessions, snail mail exchanges, book clubs, and even fountain pen workshops.
4. Les Voisines
923 Saint Zotique Street East
Montreal, Quebec
H2S 1M9
This place is always my go-to when I want a little bit of everything, because they literally have everything, from stationery, books and papeterie to clothing, accessories, home decor, plants, flowers, and even snacks, travel items, and kids’ toys.
I always love walking around and looking at all the so thoughtfully arranged displays, but I also love that you can order everything online, and pick it up in-store when short on time!
5. Bibelot
3908 Saint Denis Street
Montreal, Quebec
H2W 2M4
Did you know that “bibelot” is French for “trinket?”
Anyway, if you’re a trinket girly like I am (hello inner child healing), you have to visit this store. They have all your dream little figurines at prices that won’t wreck your budget. I’m talking Smiskis, Sonny Angels, Miffy, Calico Critters, Monchhichi, you name it!
Plus, don’t miss the photo booth, and the Italian charm bracelet bar.
6. Boutique Réunion
4750 Wellington Street
Verdun, Quebec
H4G 1X3
This is one of my favourite places to shop for kitchen items. They always have the best mugs, serving dishes, plates, tablecloths, snacks… basically everything you need to host all your friends this summer!
Oh, and if you’re a big fan of Fluf lunch bags like I am (and if you’re not, you will be once you visit the store), this is THE place to get them!
7. Moi D’Abord
255 Rachel Street East
Montreal, Quebec
H2W 1E5
If you love self-care, this is the place for you! They have the absolute cutest mugs, plus skincare, matching PJ sets, candles, snacks, tea sets, gift boxes, and more.
Oh, and their boutique just celebrated their second birthday about a week ago!
8. Le Palais Bulles
250 Saint Zotique Street East
Montreal, Quebec
H2S 1L3
I’ll be honest: I’ve never actually stepped inside this one. But I walked by the window on my way to Nozy Restaurant for my sister’s birthday dinner, and I could NOT stop staring at everything. It was closed at the time, but I will 1000% be back VERY soon.
I mean, just look at everything! I absolutely NEED those striped oven mittens!
So where are you shopping in Montreal this summer? If you have a favourite local spot I need to know about, let me know!
